The organ was originally built by Compton in 1958 to replace a previous instrument by Hele which had been destroyed during the blitz. It was built in typical Compton manner with 7 ranks of pipes all fully enclosed in 2 chambers.

In 2007, the organ was rebuilt by Michael Farley which included new electric action, the addition of a Tuba rank from Marlborough College Chapel and making the great division unenclosed. A new mobile console was provided built by Renatus of Bideford which is suspended in a stainless steel frame, has maple woodwork stainless steel stop jambs.
