With Compton electronic organs being the age they are (the youngest of them being 42 years old) and many churches tempted by the realistic sounds of digital instruments, Compton electrones are being made redundant at an ever increasing rate.

One example of this is at Crumpsall Methodist Church, Manchester, where a 357 model was replaced by an Allen instrument in the latter part of 2010.  Fortunately, this particular instrument is now in the hands of an enthusiast though a good majority are not so lucky!

Thankfully I was able to visit this instrument before it got replaced.
