The organ here is not the usual church instrument! It was originally built in 1930 for the Windsor Cinema in Bearwood, Birmingham and had 9 ranks of pipes.

In 1960 it was removed from the cinema and installed here minus the Vox Humana rank and the percussions and novelty effects. Some modifications were also made to the console. The pipework is installed in 2 fully enclosed chambers which speak through grilles either side of the communion area.
