The organ was built sometime during the 1950s and is the model 352 also known as the 'melotone' model - not to be confused with the device found on Compton cinema organs in the latter part of the 1930s.

The 352 was introduced in 1952 and was an extremely popular instrument and many were installed at working mens clubs, Butlins and other holiday camps, clubs and restaurants.
