The organ here at St Edmund's Catholic Church in Walkden, Salford, Greater Manchester is another example of a cinema instrument that has been adapted for use in a church.  Job number A99 was originally built in 1930 for the Court Cinema in Wigan, Lancashire and was a 2 manual 7 rank instrument.

The organ came to St Edmund's in 1962 minus the percussions, novelty sound effects and the Tuba rank. However the Chimes have been retained. The console was originally from the Compton organ installed at the Rialto Cinema in Bebington, Wirral in 1933.
