The organ here is a stunning instrument built for the then new church in 1933 for the sum of £1750. It was not one of their standard models. The organ has all the Compton features such as the 32ft polyphonic bass and built on the extension principal consisting of 9 ranks of pipes all fully enclosed in 2 chambers on each side of the south transept screened by carved oak panels. The console is located on the north side of the choir chancel.
