St Mary's Church in Oatlands near Weybridge, Surrey is another superb example of the kind of work that Compton were doing in the final years of pipe organ production.

The organ was first built as a 2 manual by Walker and installed in 1873. In around 1930 it was overhauled by Hill, Norman and Beard and later enlarged to 3 manuals by J Porritt of Leicester. In 1960 the organ was rebuilt to it's present format by Compton. This included the installation of electric action and the detached drawstop console as well as new ranks of pipes. In 1986 the organ was restored by restored by Percy Daniel of Clevedon and in 2005 further work was done by Griffiths and Cooper.
