During the 1960s, many inner suburban areas of our towns and cities once containing 'slums' were redeveloped with new housing, amenities, leisure facilities etc.

As a result of this revedevelopment, many churches and chapels were rebuilt, relocated etc and many of these chose Compton to provide an electrone for their new buildings.

One such example is People's Chapel in the Hockley area of Birmingham which was relocated and rebuilt in 1967.  The organ provided was the 357 model with rotofon speaker.
