The organ was first built in 1921 by an unknown organ builder for a cost of £321. In 1955 Compton completely rebuilt this instrument which included a new detached stopkey console, electric action, new casework and the addition of a 'Fagotto' reed stop. In 1995, the organ had new electric action installed by Rushworth and Dreaper.
